A Simple Weekly Networking Routine
Most job seekers treat networking like a one-off task. But real results come from consistency. Here’s a weekly rhythm that works:
Monday: Research and list 15 target companies
Tuesday: Identify 25 contacts at those companies
Wednesday: Send 3 new connection requests
Thursday: Send 3 more + follow up with earlier contacts
Friday: Send 3 more + engage with a couple of posts
Weekend: Draft follow-up messages and review progress
By repeating this rhythm, you’ll create steady momentum. Fifteen new connections a week, dozens of conversations each month, and eventually, opportunities that never appear on job boards.
It’s not glamorous. But it works.
